The lifesaving treatment and discovery at Nationwide Children’s reaches far beyond the surface

With the agility to research and treat substance abuse, trauma, suicide, developmental disorders, depression and more, we hope to draw attention to behavioral health and gain understanding of the issues from all affected: patients, parents, school personnel and behavioral health providers.

Everyone is touched by mental illness

Seventy-five perfect of lifetime mental illnesses are present by age 24. And with the soaring demand in mental health treatment for young people comes a steep rise in the complexity and severity of their illnesses. Together, we can work toward a new future that overcomes the stigma often associated with mental health issues, while also linking arms to fund research into the causes and best treatment options.
